The water treatment facility has the capacity to treat approximately 20 million gallons of water per day and approximately 3.25 billion gallons of water per year. From the water treatment plant, water is delivered to customers through several hundred miles of treated water pipelines. In most years, the majority of this water flows from the Water Purification Plant. The water treatment plant is operated and maintained 365 days of the year.
At the end of Summer 2017, our capacity to purify water will double to 40 million gallons of water per day.
