The Port Arthur Health Department is encouraging everyone to get a vaccine against COVID-19 to protect themselves and their family members at home, school, work, and play. When testing positive, please protect yourself and others. Positive cases have increased for the last several weeks, which indicates that we are spreading the disease, some without knowing.

From August 23, 2021, the City of Port Arthur Health Department is reporting COVID-19 positive individuals for Port Arthur, Groves, Nederland and Port Neches. There are confirmations of Thirty-Three (33) for Port Arthur; Seven (7) for Groves; Eleven (11) for Nederland and Nine (9) for Port Neches. The total number of positive COVID-19 cases reported is Sixty (60).
