  • Secure all outdoor furniture, equipment, and items that may float off in the heavy rainfall. Please untie outside dogs from trees, or poles, too.

  • Six (6) sandbags per address can be picked up at the Port Arthur Bob Bowers Civic Center, 3501Cultural Center Drive, for Port Arthur residents until the supply runs out. Please bring your ID and your own shovels. If you bring your own sandbags, the limit will still be six (6) sandbags.

  • Be sure to clear the ditches in front of your home of debris and built-up leaves to avoid flooding; there will be a lot of rain, some sure to cause flooding in homes and businesses.
