The Port Arthur Health Department has planned two (2) events for the public: 

On  Tuesday, March 5, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, along with TXDOT, WIC, Nurse-Family Partnership, Port Arthur Police Department, and TXDPS as sponsors, there will be a Car Seat Safety demonstration for those who schedule an appointment with the NFP Division at 409-983-8886. 

In addition, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, on March 5, 2019, the Health Department will offer an Evening Flu Clinic to administer flu shots for up to 100 children, from six (6) months to 18 years of age. The flu shot is available Monday through Friday from 8--5, daily, for children in this age group; however, this special event is designed to help vaccinate the uninsured, under-insured, and those Medicare recipients who still need the flu vaccination.
