International Women's Day began "... in New York City on March 8, 1857, when female textile workers marched in protest of unfair working conditions and unequal rights for women. It was one of the first organized strikes by working women, during which they called for a shorter workday and decent wages."
Today, the gender gap still has lines, but the blur is evident due to the increase in number of women working as veterinarians, pharmacists, mathematicians, legislators, and chief executives...
Join us in celebration of International Women's Month, and today: International Women's Day, March 8, 2022! #IWD2022.
