[ARCHIVED] 2019 Great Texas Warrant Round Up

Municipal Court Officer

The City of Port Arthur Police Department will be participating with other law enforcement agencies across Texas in the annual statewide 2019 Great Texas Warrant Round Up.  Please contact the Municipal Court at 409.983.8686 or Officer Perkins at 409.984.8556 to voluntarily resolve your cases before you are compelled to appear, by arrest, no later than March 2, 2019.

Under Texas law, if you appear before the court and make a good faith effort to resolve your outstanding Class C warrants, you are afforded safe harbor and are not subject to arrest.  Additionally, if a judgment is rendered against you and you are unable to pay the judgment, you may request a judge to assess your ability to pay and offer alternative means to satisfy the judgment.
