The Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation has scholarships available for five graduating high school seniors who are Port Arthur residents and will attend Lamar State College Port Arthur for the following degree programs:
- Drafting
- Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning
- Instrumentation Technology
- Medical Coding Specialist
- Medical Office Administration
- Process Technology
- Surgical Technology
- Nursing
