Have a safe and Happy July 4th!

Message from the Fire Department-Fireworks July 4 2022_Page_1

NOTE: The Port Arthur Fire Department would like to remind everyone that the use of fireworks within City boundaries is prohibited by City ordinance and may result in a citation which can carry a fine of $50 to $2000. Be aware that most incorporated cities in the area have similar ordinances in place.

If you are going to use fireworks outside of the City’s boundaries, please do so in a responsible manner. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/portarthurfd/ for fireworks safety tips if you plan to use fireworks outside of the City’s boundaries. For more information on fireworks regulations, contact the Port Arthur Fire Marshal’s Office at fireprevention@portarthurtx.gov or dial 409-983-8737.
