The Port Arthur City Council met at 9:30 PM for a Regular meeting on October 11, 2022, in City Hall, Fifth Floor Council Chambers. Among the business discussed, Proclamations were made for White Cane Day, October 15, 2022, honoring awareness of the blind; Gift of Life Breast and Ovarian Cancer Screening and Awareness; and Chiropractic Health Month, raising awareness of the drug-free, natural approach to physical health. The Mayor and Council also passed Resolutions and Ordinances ranging from the purchase of equipment to selection of a candidate for the Port Arthur Economic Development Chief Executive Officer-Mr. Terry Stokes.
