Health care professionals - and citizens- are welcome to attend "Building Resilience at the Intersection of COVID-19, HCV, HIV, and Monkey Pox" online or in person on this Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 10:30 AM until 3:30 PM. With the impact of these diseases directly affecting our families and friends, this seminar, which offers continuing education hours for healthcare professionals, and valuable explanations for citizens, promises to provide much-needed information for the health and safety of our communities.

The Giliead organization has teamed up with the Port Arthur Health Department and other healthcare organizations to provide valuable education on Jefferson County's most taxing illnesses. Judith Smith, Port Arthur Health Director will provide the welcome and introduction of the first speaker, as well as give the public health response to infectious diseases.
