The City of Port Arthur offers condolences to the family of community activist, Mr. Fernando Ramirez, a local community leader who set trails for the Hispanic and the Port Arthur community at large. As well, the City offers condolences to the family of Dr. Paula Richardson, a local education icon who started the first charter school system, Tekoa Academy, for Port Arthur citizens.

We deeply appreciate what both members brought to our community and will forever be grateful and honored for their legacy here.
