The City of Port Arthur, in conjunction with Lamar State College-Port Arthur, will host a July 4th Celebration from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Carl Parker Multipurpose Center, 1800 Lakeshore Drive, in downtown Port Arthur. The event is free to the public and promises to be a patriotic tribute in the celebration of Independence Day, and food and soft drinks are available for purchase; but the Blue Bell Ice Cream is free... Please bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the wonderful fireworks display from the Seawall, sponsored annually by the City of Port Arthur, beginning at 9:00 PM.
