The Valero Port Arthur Refinery will hold emergency preparedness drills on May 12 and May 19 to allow all shift employees to participate. During both drills, alarm sirens and emergency vehicles will be activated and employees may be seen gathering in small groups across the refinery.  

It is important for refinery employees to drill and practice their preparedness skills as well as to test and validate plans, procedures and capabilities. A message will be posted to STAN so the public is aware, but please share this information with your colleagues so they are aware of the drill.
