The City of Port Arthur's Grants Management Division has teamed up with Texas Homeless Network (THN) to offer training for counting of the homeless in our city, as part of in what is referred to as a "Point in Time" (PIT) count. Please review the flyer below for more information on how to receive training, and to be a volunteer in this important effort. Participation requires that volunteers receive training before participating in this community effort, and training is available online at Point-in-Time (PIT) Count Standards and Methodologies Training. Please contact the Grants Administrator at 409-983-8251 for questions about participation.
