The Port Arthur Police Department, in a special ceremony on March 3, promoted Officer Bobby Myers to the supervisory position of Sergeant, and appointed Ms. Dana Sanchez to the position of Police Aide, where she will be working in the Records Division. However, Officer Isiah Seltzer had the distinct honor of giving honor to a fellow citizen, Jermell Wright, who came to his aid when dealing with an aggressive criminal. Although it was mentioned several times, Mr. Wright, appreciative of the honor, is not yet interested in becoming one of Port Arthur’s finest--yet. 

The City administrators commends all of the recipients.
