[ARCHIVED] FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: COVID-19 Testing Site Available Tomorrow-May 29, 2020

Tomorrow, Friday May 29, 2020, The State of Texas will be providing free drive through Covid-19 testing at the Bob Bowers Civic Center, 3401 Cultural Center Drive, from 9 am to 6 pm. Tests are by appointment only. Please call (512) 883-2400 to register, or register online at TXCOVIDTEST.ORG. Individuals MUST register in order to be tested.

  • Testing must be scheduled. Individuals must either call 512-883-2400 to register or register online at TXCOVIDTEST.ORG.
  • Persons can only be tested by driving through in a vehicle - as a driver or passenger. NO WALK UPS.
  • This is free - no cost - no insurance.
  • Everyone who registers will be tested.
  • It may take 3 to 7 days for results to come in. Individuals will be notified directly of their results.
  • This is a State of Texas-run operation that is being facilitated by the Texas Military Department.
