2021 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the City of Port Arthur is accepting proposals from non-profit organizations and interested persons for the Public Services portion of its 2021 Community Development Block Grant Program.

The City of Port Arthur, as a Department of Housing and Urban Development Entitlement City, receives Community Development Block funds for eligible activities that meet at least one of the following three national program objectives:

• Benefit low and moderate income persons;
• Aid in the prevention or elimination of slum or blight;
• Meet urgent community development needs, which pose an immediate threat to the health or welfare of the community.
